First Planet Snoopy. Now Skyscraper. Cedar Fair will unveil a new thrill ride this summer in its Challenge Park activity complex. It joins Planet Snoopy -- a new children's area -- as Cedar Point's newest attractions for 2008. Skyscraper is a giant propeller ride that will spin guests in a full circle from two arms. Four riders -- two on each arm -- will sit in open cars with their feet dangling on opposite ends of the propeller. The arms spin riders up to 55 mph. At the highest point, riders will be upside down 160 feet above the ground. .

The voice of her little sister Kristen, forever frozen in time, is pleading with her to fight a little bit longer. "I know it's true," said Carol Henderson of Wareham, who lost one daughter to a car accident a decade ago and may now lose another. "Amy has injuries that you and I could not have survived." Amy Johnson, who moved from Wareham to Bridgewater just a few weeks ago, lost control of her car in the early morning and slammed into a tree near Exit 2 on I-495, suffering massive internal injuries. She remains in a coma in the intensive care unit of Brigham and Woman's Hospital. Carol was pregnant with Amy when her 3-year-old daughter Kristin suffered critical injuries in a car accident. Kristin fought to survive for seven more years. "Amy used to tell me how she talks to Kristen every day," Carol said.

Leader of Hampshire County Council Councillor Ken Thornber said: "We have been hosting these awards for three years now and it's an occasion that I really look forward to. Rob Ash completed his Montana State football coaching staff on Wednesday, hiring former Kansas State quarterback Jonathan Beasley as the Bobcats' receivers coach. Beasley played quarterback at Kansas State from 1996-2000, serving as team captain as a junior and senior. He was third-team All-Big 12 in 2000, and he earned MVP honors in the 2001 Cotton Bowl and 2000 Holiday Bowl.
