Kickels, Oster win sectional title matches
Kickels took a 1-0 lead over Gonzalez with a second-period escape. That lead held up until the third quarter when Gonzalez tied it with a reverse. The match remained knotted in the overtime before both wrestlers were awarded points because of unsportsmanlike conduct during the first 30-second tiebreaker. With Gonzalez (21-2) on top to begin the second 30-second tiebreaker, Kickels produced a reverse at the 21-second mark and made it stand up. It was on to the state for Kickels, who was the Indians' middle linebacker. "What a feeling this is," said Kickels, who finished fourth in the state last year. "It's awesome. That's the only way I can describe it. "Gonzalez is a tremendous wrestler. I knew this match was going to be among the toughest I've had all season. "This was a match you had to be ready to go from the very start.

Buckley's not only not revealing them, but we understand he's not telling any of his candidates who the others are. Talk about compartmentalization. On the Republican side, former state Sen. Carl Johnson and Rep. Fran Wendelboe are looking at possible runs for the District 2 seat held by Democrat Deb Reynolds. Last night, GOP chair Cullen, Senate Republican Leader Ted Gatsas and other Republican state senators were scheduled to hold a closed-door strategy session to talk about the upcoming elections. The Republicans are expected to have eight incumbents seeking reelection, while Bob Clegg runs for the U.S. House and Kenney runs for governor. Prescott's team It's way too early to say if former state Sen. Russell Prescott will have a primary in his bid for the GOP nomination for the District 3 Executive Council seat held by Democrat Bev Hollingworth.

The Sudanese Army's area commander confirmed that it had been a Sudanese Armed Forces unit that had fired on the convoy. Clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Justice and Equality Movement in West Darfur had also led to a number of civilian casualties and the relocation of 283 humanitarian staff from several locations in the state. On 29 December, the Justice and Equality Movement launched an attack on the local police station and Sudanese Armed Forces based in Seleia, a town north of El Geneina. While there were differing reports regarding the intensity of the conflict and casualties incurred, it had been confirmed that the Movement ultimately had taken control of the town. The Justice and Equality Movement had seized the Government controlled towns of Sirba and Abu Suruj, which were also located north of Seleia.
Hooper cautious over ground share
Chippenham Town chairman Derek Hooper says a potential groundshare between the Bluebirds and Trowbridge Town is far from agreed. Hellenic League Division One West outfit Trowbridge are looking for a new temporary home while they build a new stadium on Bradley Road in the town. They are waiting for planning permission from West Wiltshire District Council and will need a home for two seasons. But Hooper has distanced himself from any speculation about an agreement, despite Trowbridge hosting Cheltenham Saracens at Hardenhuish Park on Saturday. "It is a long way from being anywhere near tied up," said Hooper. "It is still in the melting pot because the two leagues have got to agree it, the Wiltshire FA have got to agree it and, at the moment, the Wilts FA are not looking terribly hopeful." .
YoYoGames.com celebrates 100,000th registered user in just 10 months
YoYo Games is excited to announce that more than 100,000 members have already joined the YoYoGames.com development community, still just in its beta stages. That's 10,000 new registered users a month for each of their first 10 months online, and the growth is accelerating. "We're very excited about this landmark" says Sandy Duncan, CEO, "registered users may represent less than 10% of our traffic, but they're very special to us. These are the guys making games and generating the content that makes YoYo what it is. We believe we're now the biggest casual games developer community anywhere in the world, and that's pretty amazing" The evidence certainly suggests that the YoYo user-generated casual gaming formula is striking a cord, and the reason is clear. YoYo's approach brings games development to people who previously couldn't even have considered it.
Who Has What It Takes to Be Commander-in-Chief?
The presumed recipient of highly compartmented briefings profiling our most secret intelligence, Clinton is far too gifted to have misunderstood that we are at a historical tipping point where victory or a particularly bloody and ignominious defeat looms as an equal possibility. But does she display unblinking courage, telling us which difficult course we should choose and her candid judgment about the consequences for the nation if we do? While she talks a good game about such verities as caring for wounded soldiers and their families, these are easy touchdowns. More fundamentally, Clinton has tied her presidential ambitions to the defeatist MoveOn.org wing of her party. Any flag officer contemplating the prospect of serving under her command can do so only after recalling the icy contempt with which she sneered that the Senate testimony of Gen.
Poll puts Zapatero ahead (but don't tell the Spanish)
In private though, Socialist Party officials worry that the high rate of immigration in the past few years could cost it votes on Sunday. Spain’s once-dwindling population has jumped from 40 million to 45 million since 2000, boosting the economy but creating tensions in working-class, urban areas, where many immigrants have settled. The economy is another source of worry for strategists. Unemployment figures showed that 53,000 Spaniards lost their jobs in February, taking the unemployment rate to 8.6 per cent. The manufacturing sector is also at its weakest in more than six years. Mr Zapatero swept to power unexpectedly four years ago on a wave of public anger over the previous Government’s handling of the Madrid train bombings, which killed 191 people and injured more than 1,800.
